72. Joey Porter, LB, Miami Dolphins: Porter was all but left for dead after his forgettable '07 season in Miami, but emerged as an on-the-field and lockerroom leader for the AFC East champion Dolphins in '08. He's not getting any younger, but the guy can still play the LB spot. Case in point? His career high 17.5 sacks last season.
He's the only Dolphin in there. There's like 5 Jest players.

How is Ronnie not in there? Chad could be in there, but Im not so big on that one. And J.P. is really low.

EDIT: Jake Long is in the list too

freaking horrible. good thing stupid lists like that dont translate on sundays.
WE TAKING THE MUTHA F'N DIVISION THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!

Not true.
94. Jake Long, OT, Miami Dolphins: "Hey rookie, go out there and protect a pocket quarterback, make sure we go from 1-15 to winning our division and go up against the NFL's toughest defensive ends week after week." That was essentially the orders Jake Long received last year. He did all that and more, helping bring the Dolphins back to respectability and making the Pro Bowl in his first season.
The fact he has Reggie Bush on the list leaves much to this guys rankings.

1. Which player would I rather have on my team?
2. Which player would make the most impact on my team?
3. Which player will be the best in 2009, specifically?

he's going by what players he wants on an impact team..
we dont have any impact players, I think Wilson or Bell Should of made the List over Long.. and as far as impact goes.. im pretty sure Pennington brought us to the playoffs..

Pennington had the second highest QB rating in the entire NFL last season and he's not a top-100 player.

Unbelievable.

this proves my point that the media is trying to ignore the dolphins orginazation. ttoday someone put Don Shul as a top 5 coach above Chuck Knoll and this steeler fan who is the talk show host threw the biggest hissy fit.

lol he has brown and pennington writin down on the list off people just fallen short of maken it but yet somehow reggie bush

I didn't look at the list, but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of overlooked players from lots of teams. Paring down to 99 from 1500-ish people is gonna leave a lot off that list.

p.s. Hey Moonman what kind of sea monster is that in the animated gif of your signature?

man.. Calvin Johnson being like the 10th rated WR is ridiculous
