Nice article on Marino

Great story....one other stat that was not mentioned.....Elway has the most wins ever by a QB, and Dan is just one win behind him....I would take these two as my best ever QB's.....what makes Dan great though is what he has done off of the field....helping those most in need. :)

So true. I will add to that, not only has he done an enormous amount for the community. But he did all the above with two legs(read injuries) tied behind his back.

I would love for anyone to name ONE, just ONE other QB in this league that put so much fear into a defensive coordinators' mind than Marino. Not to mention the fact that you only had to plan for ONE dimension of his game(since it was the only one). Everyone knew he wasn't going to scramble(cause he couldn't). Put knee braces, anckle braces and wraps on Brady, Montana, Young, Elway... etc and see how they fare.
