Dont know if anybody saw this.

"Whoever said that Ricky Williams is not going to be half the running back he used to be, well, not much to say after that 34-yard TD run? He might be a bit smaller in size, but he is faster and he can still put a hit on some defensive backs. Don't count him out just yet. Plus, the Dolphins have a new year to come especially now that coach Nick Saban has a feel for this team. With a few new pickups in the offseason, maybe a new quarterback, they can become an elite team. Look out for the Miami Dolphins next year!"

True, but we'll be prepared if he does. Just ask Ronnie Brown.

Well, I think the phins are going to be a better team next year, if they sign truly impact players

This is true shag, but it would be nice to get something for him this time :)

yep, which is why I really get excited with each good outing he has. Stock goes up and he's more fun to watch that way for now.

Its has already been stated that Ricky isn't going anywhere.
Just look at KC... Priest goes down... and they have a solid back up... Ricky is cheap for at least another season... Sit back... enjoy the show.... Trust that we can sign some FA.. and best utilize the draft.

A lot of people doubted his ability. This board was filled with people claiming he would never even be a shadow of his former self. I guess it goes to show that natural talent just doesn't disappear.

Do you really think his stock goes up when he remains 1 failed test away from a year off? He could walk away at any minute and has hinted he might just do that after one more season. His only value is if he stays in Miami.

There's always teams like Chicago, with Millen in charge. Someone might be stupid enough. Anyway, the above post says he stays cheap for another season so if no takers, let him run with us again and maybe a little time will make other teams believe in him more. Morriss is an adequate backup if we can get something good for Ricky. Otherwise, if he's cheap then keep him.

I never got that one either, I said it before and I'll say it again....Ricky is one of the best backs in the league, great vision and power.

To me, the reason he started smoking pot and basically quit was Wannstedt using him as a battering ram for four quarters. I think Saban knew this (everybody is bunched in a WAD), and got the guy to come back based on his need to and to change his whole way of looking at things which is basically what he is trying to do. So far, Ricky is passing all tests and I am certain the league is testing him with a very skeptical eye.

Well now that MIA has the "Carlos from Tucson" endorsement, they'll go all the way...
