But will Parcells stick to his ways by passing on a receiver with the 25th overall selection this year, despite what seems like a major need at the position? A look at history (even beyond 1996) suggests that there is a good chance he will wait.
In 22 years as a head coach or head of football operations, Parcells has drafted wide receivers in the first round on only two occasions. And Glenn was one of them. Mark Ingram, drafted 28th overall in 1987 by the New York Giants, was the other.

Basically is what we already knew, but not a bad read at all.
 
The Dolphins will not draft a wide reciever before the fourth round and they shouldn't. The plan should remain to build the defense and offensive lines.

do we want a day 1 WR who won't contribute right away or a mid-round guy who won't contribute right away?

we don't have a #1 WR but we also have guys who will more more than likely keep a rookie on the bench until 2010
 
The only Wr I wanna see Miami take on the 1st day is Britt. All the rest are just average at best.
