Nice Matt Flynn article on sports illustrated by Peter king

LOL. Let's fire Philbin already?

I do not fully understand the debacle involving Brandon Marshall and his issues, so I will give the team the benefit of the doubt for dealing him, but if Marshall is cleared and ends up making the Pro Bowl, I really believe this will be the beginning and the end for Philbin.

This whole debacle with Marshall was handled wrong, based on what I have read.

You read the whole tragedy that is BMs life?

He can't run a route

He breaks off - starts stops

He can't take a simple directive

He can't play under a HC who demands his players be professional as was Sparano's player coach relationship

He doesn't make anyone better around him for the money

He doesn't play here anymore and we overpaid for him in the first place

You have cancer in your body you cut it out - BM is that cancer - we never won stitch under him - It was a gamble that never payed off it was time to cut bait - big time

What don't you understand? Have you been living in the US over the last several years?

Arm strenght, arm schtrenght, you know who else dont have great arm strenght, even when healthy, Peyton Manning...

Mark me down as a believer, you don't have the type of game he had by accident. I'd rather have Manning but don't have much faithhes coming over so basicly that leaves us with 2 options to improve the qb position Flynn or Tannehill, I just believe Flynn is more ready as Tannehill is a rookie & a 1 year starter. We better start liking the guy cause its written in the sky that hes our guy.

I'm ready for Flynn. I think he executes the designed offense fine. I also like that its kind of understood that he still needs to take less money and prove it on a regular basis. The largest part of being a great QB is reading the D, changing the call, and making it happen.

I would still like to draft a QB. Cousins in 2nd/3rd would be nice because Moore's contract up after this year.

Because this is a first time incident right? I am sure he learned his lesson this time, right? Because most good things happen at 4 AM? After last season's stabbing, nothing is really surprising with BM. I read something very true today "better to trade a player a season early than a season late."

I don't understand the criticism of his arm. During the Lions game he threw multiple 40+ yard TD's passes spot on and in stride to his receivers. Looked pretty damn strong to me.

Hey threw 2 balls downfield for TD's. Of the other 4, 2 were within 10 yards of the end zone and 2 were very short passes that were taken all the way due to great YAC by the receiver.

I don't have an issue with Flynn coming in, but his big game wasn't a "bombs away" type of performance that left you saying "wow look at that guy throw the ball down the field". Just my opinion of course.

We went 11-5 with Chad Pennington at QB. He is 1" taller and 5 lbs heavier than Matt Flynn. He, like Flynn, is not known for his strong arm. But a few things they do share in common? Leadership, Accuracy and Smarts. Those 3 things are the most important qualities a successful QB need to have.

Especially in the WCO.

I do not want the guy here, we have Matt Moore, don't throw away your money on another AJ Feeley.

Dude you keep posting the same thing over and over, and half the time you add your little tidbit about signing McNabb (which I don't need to say how ridiculous that sounds). Give it a rest already!

Matt Moore is just mediocre and average...Dunno why people think he is a franchise QB...

If we don't ever take a chance on a QB, we are just going to be mired in mediocrity for the upcoming years...

I replied to the guy that kept saying Flynn was a joke and we needed to sign McNabb instead. Nothing in my post said Moore was good or a franchise QB. Im thinking you responded to the wrong post?
