I am all for getting an offensive minded HC in here. I think a great D coach can be left alone and handle his business. When it comes down to the nuts and bolts its points that get it done. Cameron is a great offensive mind. Hope we land a guy that wants to light it up... I'd rather go back to the mid 80s when we were fun ti watch vs the past few years wear its been a snooze fest on offense.
 
I agree, in case nobody has noticed, I'm now officially on the Cam Cameron bandwagon!!!...

I would rather have Martz. He has so much more experience and did pretty well with crappy talent. I think any coach with gates and LT would do well and he is unproven as a HC in the NFL, but I wouldn't be mad if we got him.
 
Rivers/Brees, Gates and that running back (what was his name again?) could probably produce a lot of "great offensive minds." I don't necessarily think he'd be a bad hire, but I'd have my reservations if we hired him.
 
cameron would allow the hybrid 3-4 that we love to run and he and Houck will be reunited .he would get the most out of ronnie brown-lets get him

I agree but he also got it done without a legit WR... kinda like our team. We have a servicable TE, a pretty good rb, a qb who is banged up but is just a few years removed from an mvp type season and he has history with Hud,which to me is important cause I do not want to lose our o-line coach.I truly think if he could get just a few parts in here (lt,solid wr) we may have a few 30-35 point games... remember those? fun.

LOL Anyone who can turn Gus Frerotte into a Pro Bowl QB must be able to work miracles.
 
He calls play to your strength. I watch alot of chargers football since they are local team broadcast here in los angeles along with the raiders. One thing I love about the Chargers is their play calling. Very balanced pass and run. The pass plays are not bombs constantly but very high percentage pass plays and uses the playaction very effectively.

thx for the insight and guys if SD goes on to the show and wins how hyped would we all be that we got the SB winning o-coach? could happen.
 
My only real concern is whether or not Zach and JT will retire if we hire someone like Cam. Those guys want to win now and not start a "rebuilding" process. I still think we are just a few pieces of the puzzle away from a contender.
 
well im hopping on his wagon...hmm i wonder if he was a fan of Lemon when he was with the chargers..hmmm
