this is what we need Ugoh, VERY QUICK FEET! thats what our O line lacks, speed and quickness. overall i see a lot of players i want. Merrimeather (SP), Bowe, Ugoh, L. BRown, Willis, etc etc. these guys are getting me excited man. all the other QB's suck! tired of hearing palmers and stantons and stuff, they are all back ups except for stanton that has a major out side shot if lucky. reminds me of Frerrote with inconsistancy or hsould i say Harrington as well. QB is either Quinn, Russell or Smith and thats it. rest are a waste as of now.

Honestly, some of you guys want people based on their name alone. Comparing Drew Staton to Joey Harrington? THey are absolutely NOTHING alike. Not one part of their game is anything close.

Staton has looked HORRIBLE in practice. Merriweather? HORRIBLE. He's consistently out of position, he's being made fun of basically for his lack of basic technique.

Chris Leak, Florida - didn't see a pass batted down, feet kept play alive, released ball at highest point in delivery - mitigating short stature, good zip on short/intermediate throws, very athletic, preferred to dumpoff in drills

Yet, he's worthless?

I'm just so lost on how some 5'10 190 lb DB whose practice summary reads

Notes: Inconsistent day. Constantly corrected early in the
day on poor fundamentals. Really did not make a lot of plays.

Thats like being excited about Jordan Palmer, who is freakin TERRIBLE. Miami needs an INTELLIGENT QUARTERBACK. Drew Staton is NOT THAT QUARTERBACK.

His throws were inconsistent through out the practice session. Stanton would set up well
but was off on his mechanics.

I agree 150%. Ive said this since day 1 this is the guy to draft. He has star written all over him. I was saying all along that the Fins need to draft this guy with their 2nd overall pick. I think its the 7th pick in the 2nd round. ESPN originally had Stanton at a 2nd or 3rd round pick, but ESPN said this morning he and Troy Smith are really impressing at the Senior Bowl practices and that Stanton could now be a late 1st or early 2nd round pick. WE MUST DRAFT THIS GUY.

All you doubters of Stanton need to watch this video and then try to say this guy doesnt have star written all over him. He has a real strong arm, hes very quick, runs well and throws his best on the run.
