While reading the awesome story about how he worked in a steel mill to help pay for school, I decided to check out his stats on NFL.com. It's funny in a way because he wasn't pronounced the starter until week 9, but he leads the team in passes deflected with 8. Second on the team is Will Allen with 7.

I never really questioned Saban's apprehension to start Bell until now. Maybe it's sentiment from his blue-collar work ethic; I don't know. I have always liked him, but not as much as I do now. This guy just has a knack for making plays. I really hope he continues on his path.

Sweet.

Since last year i've become a big yeremiah bell, he plays with heart and passion. One of the few players we've had on this team that actually tries to make big plays every down. And from what i've seen and heard, if he can stay healthy this guy can be a solid PLAYMAKER not just starter for us for years. saban needs to lock him up.

In the player interviews on MD.com, Bell said the secondary is starting to call him "PM", as in PLAYMAKER.

I love Bell, I wish he would have been starting since Week 1. He is a great story.

i love watching Bell out there...hes a real good safety..i only have 1 problem with him though which is his age...

Don't worry, he's 28, Lynch is 35 years old and still plays.

Bell has always played above expectations, much like Welker has, and I hope they both continue to do so.:dolphins:

He should of been a starter since the season started in my opinion. He is always around the ball and making plays.

He has that "it" factor, always seems to be in the right place at the right time. I love this kid, want him starting for us for a long time.

thats my boy, bell.
hahahha ive been saying it all along.
its just now that he starting hes gettinga laot of hype
remember when he blocked that kick last yaer? lol:dolphins:

People in the locker room are starting to call him "PM" which stands for Playmaker

It kind of makes me wonder why it takes Saban so long to make personnel decisions. Something like weak wristed flag throwing.
