Nick Collins

Too much of a risk... He's done! Would prefer a savvy veteran that could mentor the young pups.....oh wait a minute, we had one and waived him recently!

I like him! He's a straight ball hawk. He makes plays, and sometimes stupid plays. But I still like him.
 
The dude's been put out to pasture in Wisconsin. Heard they're already milking him to make more cheese hats.

Like the video, over a year ago but what really irks me is the unsportsmanlike conduct called...ITS THE SUPERBOWL. The NFL needs some revamping in their constitution as much as America.

Yeah I agree! What you have is a league that is afraid of it's players expressing themselves. Now don't get me wrong, the silly stuff like writing on a t-sirt or using any sort of props in the celebation has no real place in the game. But simply falling to the ground with your arms pointed to the heavens is not showing up your opponents in any way. And if you think about it, what's the difference between that Nick Collins play and Tebowing? Same thing to me. Basically, as long as you're not impeding on the flow of the game, I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to have fun in the endzone. The player earned it so let them entertain us. I mean, isn't that partly in their job description?

When it comes down to it though, we live in a highly politically correct society. There's little room for tolerance in 2012. People are easily offended nowadays, and if you slip up and say the wrong thing, best believe there will be somebody who will spark a movement to get rid of you. Just the times we live in I guess, everybody is on edge.:blowup:
 
We should definitely sign him, we need a good safety. Nick Collins was one of the best and could still be an awesome player.

True, but I keep holding out hope that someone won't post it. I mean there have been some all out scrubs posted before...I'm sure if Ryan Leaf announced he wanted to make a comeback in the NFL someone would post "Do we want him?"
