you go off on campbell today in your presser about guys that can't stay healthy and stay on the field, but you draft channing crowder coming off of a serious knee injury, jason allen coming off a serious hip injury, and trade for daunte culpepper who had his knee shredded last season. shirdonya mitchell...even FAs you've signed have had significant injuries as well as nagging injuries in the past that have kept them off the field, campbell included. quit fielding a team full of guys that are injury prone or quit bitching about them when they miss practice or games.

Actually, everyone of those guys you named has not been injured significantly as a dolphin. Channing is healthy, Daunte is coming back as a dolphin, Jason Allen appears to be completely recovered from a college injury, and Shirdonya Mitchell was injured at the combine......not as a dolphin. To say he is grabbing guys that are injury prone I think is a bit harsh. I look at it as he is giving guys with enormous talent a chance to prove that they can stay healthy and contribute. Now once your on the team, if you can't stay healthy........then yeah that is cause for some concern with the player......not with Saban for getting talented players coming off injuries. Just my opinion.

Wow! I wanted to give a rebuttal to what you said,but I can't you make some very valid points.But for what it's worth I think we'll be better team in the long run(still some homer in me:wink:). Since were on the topic,I wasn't actually jumping for joy when we drafted Allen at 16.I'll probably get torched for saying this but it's how I felt at the time.Hearing ck and other members whos opinion I respect talk about his skills and ability has made me feel a little more at ease since then.Also let me be the first to say I hope and pray Jason Allen makes me like foolish for saying this by having a stellar career with Miami.:dolphins:
