Some more respect from Adam Schefter:

Quote on NFL.com by Adam:

"The AFC East suddenly seems vulnerable, with the Patriots lacking their leaders, the Jets lacking their quarterbacks, and the Bills lacking their offensive and defensive punch. Because of these factors and more, the Dolphins are in first place for the first time since the 2003 season. It might not be too early to start talking about Nick Saban as one of the chief Coach of the Year candidates."

WOW  I am loving this year. Go Coach!!!!!!!!

I think right now that Dungy and Saban are the mostly likely to win.

Its way too early to speculate, but if we handle our business and go 3-1 in the next 4, leaving us at 5-2, he needs to get some serious consideration. Also throw in Marvin Lewis, big time. I would discount Indy and Dungy right now, because, although its a shame, he is just doing what he has to, beating up on bad opponents with a good team. A third and lower candidate would be Gruden.

it's too early to say anything about that but the way it is right now Marvin Lewis would win for having the 8-8 Bengals undefeated and looking great

True. However I don't think it would be a "homer" comment to say that he deserves it. It is early but a turn around from 4-12 is far superior to an 8-8 record. There's a lot of football to be played, he's got a shot if continue to play well!

I think Cincy might impact that if they stay on their winning ways, the phins have been good for a long time, an undefeated Bengals team for several weeks will get Lewis more spot light.

DOLPHINS-Saban...
or
Bengals-Lewis...
or
Redskins-Shottenheimer

Dungy's done a hell of a job building some defense, but I dont think that's the most drastic transformation a team has gone thru this year.

Schottenheimer? You mean Joe Gibbs, right?

I agree.

Well I like Adam Schefter's thinking but the key word in Coach of the Year is... "YEAR". I honestly think it's way too early to even talking about coach of the year, rookie of the year, comeback player of the year. Honestly the most important thing to me right now is this Sunday in Buffalo, this is a HUGE division game for us that we cannot afford to you. This would be a such a big win for us, if we can beat the Bills in Buffalo.
