hey dominizzo I agree. I think he realized he couldnt coach and that was why he walked out of miami with his tail between his legs. also that is why he didnt have the balls to tell everyone in person he was leaving. it all makes sense.
I have to disagree. There is a reason Alabama went after him with cases full of money. He is a great coach. Would his style and scheming worked out in the NFL if he stayed the five years?? I believe it would have, and I think some other fin fans do as well.
After today I do not question his coaching ability, I question his character. That is what is most dissapointing.
The guy coached up a team that shut out the Pats and embarassed the Bears, I think with time he would have proved himself. Even the best NFL coaches today took time. Legacy's are not built overnight. The third year was going to be crucial, and Saban up and left. For me this is where the anger comes from for yesterdays debacle. The quitting.

Yes!!! More sense than you will ever know. I think it was apparent when we win against teams like Chicago and New England and lose to Texas and Green Bay. We were a better team than we saw most of the season.

Being objective, Saban is an excellent college coach. His record proves that. He's a mediocre pro coach. His record proves that. His nasty personality, lying and quitting shows him to be a creepy little weasel. His actions prove that. :shakeno:

I guess I have to agree that maybe he is a good college coach. I am so pissed right now that I don't know what to say. It was just a cowardly act to leave the way he did.
