After what you have seen so far do u guys think Saban is our new coach for more than 5 years or just a few more years.?

Personally im in Sabans Corner ALL THE WAY !!!!!

He will be here for more than 5 years. Also, you can't really base your decision on what you have seen from this season.

Saban will be here longer than 5yrs he will probably sign an extension in yr 3 of hie exsiting contract

My quote was not directed to you. I didn't mean it as an attack against you. I meant that Saban gets a free pass for year one because of what he inherited. I am sorry if it came out wrong. I really didn't mean anything against your thread. I think it is a good one.

I like his aproach to the game. He demands that players take responibility for there play on the field and dosnt baby them. I realy liked how he handled the penalty issue, he just kinda sat back and said "Hey we have told them not to do it but its up to them. If they realy want to win they will take care of it." Eventialy they did.

He didn't wait all this time to move to a pro team that he sort of wanted to coach. He must have wanted this so he'll stay a while. Oh anyone who thinks he will be run out of town will probably be the loudest on his Superbowl bandwagon in a couple more years.

Who knows?

No way to know at this point if Saban is Jimmy Johnson or Butch Davis. Great college coach. Great coordinator.

We'll see if he's a great NFL HC. Verdict's out.

He won't last as long as Shula but he should be here for a while. We might have only won 3 games so far this year but I see alot of improvement so far. We have had a chance to win or tie at the end of 3 of the loses. Last year we where just horrible. And so far I hear alot of the players like to play for him which is important also. But the only bad thing I have to say about him is the play calling at the end of the Pats game.

Saban appears to be an exceptional organizational leader, and his PS's continue to be the most entertaining, animated conveyances of thought, I've ever heard cast from behind a Dolphin podium.

Whether or not that'll translate into a championship, I've no idea, but I do like his style, and mindset.

His longevity is relative to the patience of the South Miami fandom, and proportionate to their interest in him as a legend, or a lynching.

well, after what he have inherited..he deserves not only this year but next year too without pressure for results. Imo in his 3rd year he'll show for what matter he came to the pros level and get an extension.

No way will he be a bad Pro Coach, if anything he will stand out in a few years. His decipline and approach to coaching is very methodical and will certainly make great players from average players.

Wayne didn't want to fire JJ. In fact he talked him into coming back after he quit.

Wayne was begging Wanny to stay early last year when we sucked. It took Eddie Jones and others to step in and say, its time to move on.

NO WAY IN HELL SABAN IS WALKING AWAY FROM THIS MONEY AND I DON'T SEE WAYNE FIRING HIM......period

i think he will stay, but who knows

what the QB situation is never solved and the fins stink for 2-3 more years? its not impossible. if that happens, he may go somewhere else (still in the NFL)
