1990 Toledo Record 9-2 No Bowl (their schedule really sucked)

1996 MSU Record 6-6 Sun Bowl

1997 MSU Record 7-5 Aloha Bowl

1998 MSU Record 6-6 no bowl

1999 MSU Record 10-2 Citrus Bowl

2000 LSU Record 8-4 Peach Bowl

2001 LSU Record 10-3 Sugar Bowl

2002 LSU Record 8-5 Cotton Bowl

2003 LSU Record 13-1 Sugar Bowl

2004 LSU Record 9-3 Capital One Bowl

2005 Miami Record 9-7 No Playoffs

2006 Miami Record 6-10 No Playoffs

So does anyone think that 1) He's overrated as hell and 2) Bama's not getting much for all they're paying for? Uh-Oh! Sorry, bama but you're not getting all those NCs that you think you're about to get. I will say that N.S. is getting incredible mileage out of that one NC and 13-1 record he had. It's just too bad that the Miami Dolphins had to be another bad experiment to prove his mediocrity. I'm really glad he's gone!

the mans been a head coach for 3 different programs, plus an nfl team, and hes only coached one losing season. give the man his credit, hes a good coach.

I hate him, but hes good. he will take Bama far if he sticks around.

College is where he belongs.

He's a good coach on that level.

People are coining him with the nickname of "The Larry Brown of football". I actually am a bit ticked by that comparison. I do not like Larry Brown one bit but AT LEAST he won a championship in the PRO's.
