Does anyone have any info on who they are gonna be?

What do we think are the chances that Allen is one of them? Is this why Saban played him at corner a lot in the preseason?

I just seen on the SI page where you vote for finheaven that they had an article saying he has accepted a ST's role. I didn't read it but it sounds about right the way he has played.

I just went and read that artiucle and it is pretty good. I screw up every time I try to post a link so if someone wants to go to the Palm Beach Post and get it it's really got some good stuff from Saban and Allen.

This is the best for Allen right now . . . we have 3 good safeties ahead of him, and I think it only hinders his growth to keep trying him at CB if u brought him to be a FS. I mean I'm pretty sure he will improve in practice and will see some PT during the season. I mean its ok to use his versatility, but let the kid learn the safety position and how Nick wants to use him . . . and then he can maybe be meesed around w/ at CB.

From the article it appears he will concentrate on safety and said he needs to learn to crawl before he can walk because he is the baby of the group. I like the approach Saban is using and for some reason I have more confidence in him. I still haven't forgave him yet though.:cooldude:

I think that in some of the Zone Nickel and Dime Schemes he could be useful and it wouldn't hinder his development as a safety. He does need as much PT as he can get, but I agree manning up people at CB doesn't really help his ability to read offenses for saftey purposes.

Of course, playing special teams is a good way for him to get his feet wet for the purposes of game speed and physicality.

Maybe it will improve his tackling. That was what disappointed me in him besides holdingout for so long.
