Pats beat the Bills, Jags beat the Ravens, Jets beat the fish.

Pats win the division, jets win the wild card, we win jack ****! AHHHH, talk about a dream season ending in absolute horror, oh the humanity!!!!!!!

we still finish 10-6 which is a 1000% turnaround from last year... then we just wait for 2009 when we go 13-3 and win a first round bye and homefield throughout

at least we could play the bengals/browns and the raiders next year and not the steelers and the chargers/broncos. thats the only good about it.
 
i dont no about u guys, but if we dnt make the playoffs i consider this season a failure. i no ppl r gonna say well we were 1-15 last year and now we r 10-6 so its a huge improvement. all that is true, but when we r in the position we r in now, there is no excuse not to make the playoffs. so for me its playoffs or failure. just bc u were bad last season dosent make a team have an excuse to just improve and have the season be considered successfull even if no playoffs. just my thinking.
 
A season can be dissapointing and still be successful i think.

wat bad vibes? im not trying to be negative, i love the dolphins just as much as anyone on this board, but its just my thinking. i dont mean it like we suck if we dont make the playoffs, i just will consider it a failure if we were able to play so well the whole year and get to the point where we control our own fate, and then just fall apart in the last game. im sure most fans would be pretty pissed off also if that happened, and they wouldnt just say after the game at least we improved. lets hope we win so the scenario about being dissappointed dosent even come into factor.
 
Nothing can ruin this year for me. My Phins have won 10 games this year, and possibly 11, which is 1000% better than last year, and my Phillies won the World Series when nobody gave them a chance. The Phins making the playoffs would just be icing on the cake for me......but I think we have as good a shot at winning the SB as the Steelers did a few years ago, as there is no dominant team in the NFL right now....every team is beatable. The Phins just have to want it.
 
At this point, after sitting through last season, I feel like I've gotten my money back, and then some. I am more than happy at what this team has accomplished thus far and would consider myself greedy if I asked for anything more. If they lose on sunday, Im sure it will still be a GREAT game. If they win, Im going downtown and flipping some cars over.
 
Win or lose, I'm proud of what the Dolphins have accomplished this year. Of course I'll be disappointed if we don't make the playoffs but in no way should ANY Dolphin fan consider this season a failure.

I think we're finally on the road to building a truly competitive team that has the mental toughness to compete with the best. It was so frustrating under Wanny to be a preseaon favorite only to see the team fade at the first sign of adversity.

ya wat i wrote may have been misinturpeted, sry for that. wat i was just trying to say was that if we didnt make the playoffs this season with everything right infront of us now like it is, im not just going to be like ok 10-6 great improvement , this is ok,im prob going to be rlly upset for a long time as im sure most fin fans will. im not gonna go around though and be like damn 10-6 we stink, get rid of everyone, we r a disgrace, etc. i still love the fins no matter wat and always will. hopefully we make the playoffs and will take it from there so all of this dosent rlly matter.
