Nine years in, Dolphins DE Cameron Wake still loves training camp

Not only does Wake look like he’s in impeccable shape, but he’s an extra year past the ruptured Achilles tendon that threatened his career and he’s been very productive on the field. Miami coach Adam Gase said today he looks like a 25-year-old out there.
The reason, in part, is because Wake doesn’t dread this portion of the calendar. He loves the rigors of training camp.

It's unreal to think freaks of nature like this get passed over in the NFL every year like he did. Shows how important professionalism is in this sport.

I couldn't ask for a better representation of this franchise.

I look forward to his well-deserved Ring of Honor ceremony when the time comes. He's truly a pro's pro.

Wake is the best example on our team at the moment. He is the quintessential Dolphin leader for the Defense. Looking forward to seeing him rack up the sacks this year...
