Niners Name Starting QB... What About Us?

If we can get Brees, Couch, McPherson....then forget Leinart. Leinart "apparently" is good at USC because USC has a certain SYSTEM. If Leinart was in the NFL, he'd suck.....i heard someone on this board say that awhile back, i dont remember who. But hey, lets imagine our QB depth chart is Brees, Couch, McPherson, Berlin. Brees and Couch can throw, and McPherson can run real well....so they're all decent. Those are all YOUNG guys who practically just started...so they still have plenty of time to develop......with Miami. And someday, ONE of those guys is bound to be the next Dan Marino. We should trade some of our players to get at least 2 first round picks, and with those picks....draft that offensive tackle guy that everyone is talking about, and with the second one we choose one of the most dominant Centers...our next draft HAS TO be about the O-line only, we are pretty well-off on our other positions...if Will Poole is himself next year, we dont need a CB.

Funny how that works, everyone around here would have wanted A. Smith to start for us..At least the niners know that a 1st year guy will take a year or 2.

I prefer what the colts did with manning. just throw him in there. the guy will learn much more under fire than he will watching from the side lines.

Well, Gus was still working with the first team.

Saban is not one to change his mind once it's made up I think. Take that as good or bad. Probably good overall, but I'm not sure in this situation how I feel about it. I guess he doesn't have too much to work with at QB and with our O-line playing this way, either decision will look bad.
