well i just called, talked to miami mike and he said its most likely gonna happen, cause they upgraded to direct tv satellite but they still have the capabilities of the old satellite signals, b-band and with those you can tap into other areas local broadcasts... so he said he'll have his guys in there tomorrow morning to hook it up and he said he'll know by like 12 noon tomorrow if its up or not... so ima just wait till then, might cut it close but im not gonna make the trip if no game is gonna be on...
 
I just called the bar and the girl who answered surprised me with "Sportz Bar Home of the Dolphins" and told me the game would definitely be on. I plan to be there. I will be wearing an aqua fins jersey with the #32 and Rodriguez on the back. I'll be driving from PA and I will be coming in off I-287 S. I found directions off MapQuest but does anyone know once I get to the place where it's located and is it an easy drive once there? I know Jersey roads tend to be confusing so I just want to know what to expect. I plan on being there by 12 noon.

It's not that I don't believe the girl but I just want to make sure that people aren't saying that it's going to be on just so people show up and they "hope" it'll be on. Please help me with this info.

Is anyone else going tomorrow? It seems like everyone stopped posting on this thread all of a sudden.
 
Well I don't post much, but my boy and I will be going. We live about 30-40 minutes away in northern jerz. I'll be wearing my white Chambers jersey or my bootleg Marino jersey.

I'm am along with 5 friends, we fly out the 1st, comeback the 4th Monday. Can't wait. Been going for years here in jersey, even the monday night game. This'll be my first time seeing a Fin game in Miami.

I'll be there with anywhere from 3-6 others... calling before we go, shooting for a 12-1230 arrival, and hopefully we'll find a seat.
 
What time do they open on Saturday? I"m lookin to arrive 11-11:30
 
I havent called to confirm yet, i believe someone said 11... but in another post it was said the satellite guys are getting their at 11, so i want to wait a while and call them around 1130-12, to make sure it's game on... im only about 20 minutes away.
 
Anyone live around the Belmar- Long Branch area???? Looking to get a few people and get a car service up to east hanover early tomorrow....the more the better
 
Cool...I'm about 30-40 minutes away....I really hope he gets it. I've been hearing about this place for the past 3 yrs and just never went.
 
There's a Ramada Inn at the border of Toms River/Lakewood near me. I'll keep that in mind. Also, I would think that they would probably be playing the game over at Finnigans.
