I know I'm the same guy that just got done complaining about how MVP awards are meaningless anyway, but why was the race even close? Pujols is roughly twice the player Jones is. Well, at least they got it right, and that's what counts.

as i predicted all along, Derek Lee choked the stat lead AND his team failed to make the playoffs....Pujols is clearly the best player in the NL.

Pujols is a great player, but I don't think he is "more valuable" to the Cardinals then Andruw Jones is to the Braves. The Cardinals still have plenty of talent and still would win their division without Pujols....the Braves would be nowhere near winning the division without Andruw. I guess it depends how you define
