No blackout.

I think this is a problem..

I think this is one of the reasons why ppl dont show up to games...

Cause they know its going to be on TV.

I think if a few blackouts come through fans might actually show up for games.

Blackout or no blackout, they're not getting another penny from me this season.

they could black out the whole season and I still wont show up for this ****ty team....THey is other ways to watch game even is blackedout.

Thats them. We packed stadiums when Dan was in his prime. Fan interest has waned though after all these years of mediocrity. If we can build a consistent winner again, the fans will come.

Exactly, if the product is good Miami fans will turn out. They have proven that in the past. But this year, people could sense that this team was a trainwreck and refused to buy in. They were right.

Nope. The fans would eventually forget the Dolphins even existed and Ross would move the team.

I'd say having the game on TV ... you can thank Tebow more than Budweiser.

Not a T-bone fan, but it is what it is!! I read that ticket prices rose 5% for this game on the tix sites ... crazy, huh?

Attendance wasn't too bad during this bad stretch from 2004-2010 either, top 15 in the league still...but $hit hit the fan this season. The team is boring, they keep losing, and a lot of fans know about Luck & Co so they don't even want wins now that we're done.

If the Dolphins DO get Andrew Luck, season ticket sales will rise. Then if they start winning during the season, the rest of the individual tix will be bought up by people instead of sponsors. Ross knows this, he knows Marino is still a star here, and wants the next one.

This is the first Dolphins game that I could watch, but choose not to. I'm not sure I can do it. It's a hard habit to break. I've been watching the Dolphins all my life. This upcoming game offends me. I'm sick of the management, the players, the fact that they insult their home city. I'm not going to support a game that's marketed to the opposing team. It embarrasses us as Dolphins fans. Budweiser could have saved their money as far as I'm concerned.

Meh, this happens with every team. The Buffalo game in Toronto was sold out months ago. Not because fans bought tickets, but because Rogers (cable) bought all of them.

Thank God for NFL ticket. I can just watch the RedZone on Sunday and not have to worry about seeing the Dolphins play.

Alot of people called it during the end of last season and during the draft.... People are fed up with the status quo, i gave up my 4 tix after 14 years. I still watch on TV but its boring and i prefer watching the redzone channel (dolphins are rarely on it). The organization took advantage for many years knowing no matter what they did people will still come... those days are over for sure.

the blind homers just don't understand that this is what thousands of season ticket holder felt this year, and said enough is enough, I'm tired of being taken for granted. No w the Dolphins just made their rebuild even tougher because now they have to build not only a front office & team, but a fanbase again.

Build a fanbase? This is bandwagon city, if you put a winning product on the field, fans will come. That is how it has been for ages and its how it will continue to be going forward. This city will never have the loyality that some of the Red Sox and Yankees fans have. Hell look at the Cubs, those guys haven't won anything in 105 years and they have a strong fanbase. Don't expect that with Miami . . . you will always have diehard Dolphin fans but a vast majority of their fans switch teams every time the wind blows.

And yea I'm a homer, I'm not blind though, but that doesn't mean I can't root for my team on Sundays. You do your thing and I'll do mine, I understand what season ticket holders went through . . . it sucks, but all it takes is a solid offseason and a winning record and Miami will sell tickets left and right. Until then, I want the Fins to win a damn game. Hopefully it comes on Sunday.
