Perhaps we haven't signed a CB yet because we have a plan to swap #1's with Atlanta and part of that deal includes Hall. Any thoughts?

um i dont think so
the falcons would give up way to much for number 1.
i say we dont sign mccown and this would mabey scare the falcons enough to get matt ryan number 1. i would love hall, dont get me wrong. i think our best bet is to give jt to a team for a second adn third and turn around deal the 2 for lito schepard

Not sure what you mean by this statement. To move to number one, even if it is only two spots, requires much. To give up a player, even that of Hall's ability, is not too much. In fact, I would demand a draft pick and Hall. But...IMO only of course. Who knows now adays what you can get. Someone like Ireland and Parcells can probably get more than what we are used to seeing our previous GM's accomplish.

im sorry i think i wrote it differnetly than how i wanted to say it.
um i think that the flacons are set with where they are, at least enough to not trade their 3rd overal and hall (mid first round compenstion)
but yes if this were any other year that would normally be a done deal, just the phins have to sell ryan (but dont take him, please) (PLEASE!) more

I would love that. That would still gives us a Choice of Chris Long/Jake Long:woot:

Lol one makes a thread on how theres no CB's left and another member makes one of how there is plenty left. Haha I love this website.

I don't think anyone is making a comment about the number of CB's that are or are not available. Just suggesting we may add a good one to the roster by trade instead of free agency.

All these speculations looks good.. FA and going into the draft wise we are in a pretty good situation.

No way will we trade that pick to the Falcons..if they want McFadden they can get him at #3 without giving us Hall.

I would always try to avoid going after a top CB in the FA market because they always seemed to get overpaid.

We have two 2nd rounders and a 3rd that is practically a 3rd, one of those picks should most definitely focus in CB's.

misleading thread title..

Join VIP bro, we don't have those problems.

In regards to this particular thread...there's no reason why we would even need to LOOK at a corner before the draft. We have a good number of picks in the first three rounds, and more than likely we'll pick up one there. No need to waste money on a FA when we can use a pick on one for much less money.

We haven't looked at any Corners because this draft is prolly the deepest at the cornerback position the NFL has seen in years possibly best of all time.

i think that there is a lot of talent in the draft also at CB, which basically allows to target other positions in free agency without too much worry. plus we signed Lehan back, and we can obtain someone good in the draft still. Mind you also, Lito Shepard may be a trade possability with Philly
