If this team f****** wakes up next week against the Bills especially the secondary and WRs.. those two wins seem like a fluke right now and have spoiled us to an unbelievable extent but all hope is not lost.. Colts are going to lose and the Jets dont look good right now against the Raiders.. The patriots are going to stumble against the Broncos tomorrow so we'll only be 1 gb from that final wild card spot despite having lost 2 in a row.. next week is vital as we play the Broncos in mile high the week after.. after the Broncos game our schedule certainly favors us as the only tough game really is against the Bills in Toronto..

get a clue! i love optimism but we just got whooped by the ravens. we dont have the skill players at receiver or defensive back to do any kind of damage in the playoffs.

this clip from youtube basically covers my thoughts on your post!

Certainly nobody else is running away with these AFC Wildcard spots. However we shot ourselves in the foot by losing three very winnable games.

love your positive thinking, but this team isnt getting ANYWHERE near the playoffs until we can win games without using a high school formation in order to be legit....

We are 2-4 and needed this win soooo bad today. I am not a negative poster on here, I have always been positive, but there comes a time when reality strikes and we all realize Miami probably wont make the postseason this year. Unless we go on a miracle winning streak like we did in 05 of 7 straight, but I'm not thinking thats gonna happen.

i agree with you 100%. i am as big of a dolphin fan as anyone, and im always optimistic about everything no matter the situation, but its hard to see us making the playoffs after these 2 losses in a row to the texans, who had to hold off the lions today in the 2nd half at home to win, and the ravens, who have no offense whatsoever, and we made them look like an all pro offense. i really hope we can put together a nice long winning streak of like 4-5 games if not more, but its hard to excpect this now with the way we r playing, especially since we cant convert on 3rd downs and stop and teams from converting on 3rd downs. i will never give up though and i hope we can somehow make a run at this.

Forget the schedule...forget the record...look at the team that was on the field today!!! Quite frankly we don't deserve to be in the playoffs at this point, or even be part of a discussion where the word playoffs is even included!!!

I have to admit it, but you are right. I was regaining optimism following the Chargers game, but that has been dashed.
The game last week could be attributable to a very good Texans offense. However, the Ravens are a below average offensive football team and during the pregame, I think Jim Mandich said that several of their starting O-lineman were out. Flacco has looked like a rookie (up until this game). Our secondary is just plain bad. They can't even cover an average group of receivers. They give up 2-4 big plays a game.
The Ravens controlled this game throughout (just like the Texans). That doesn't say much for this team.
The Bills are a very balanced team and I just don't see how the Phins can beat them, unless the Bills come out flat. In fact, I expect to see a couple of 50+ yd plays against our defense from the likes of Lee Evans and Lynch.

Playoffs will probably take 10-6 at very least 9-7. No way in hell dolphins go 8-2 or 7-3 the rest of the way.

Here's a radical thought:

How about we just focus on next week's game and let division titles and wild cards sort themselves out.
