Much was made this week about the decision to add the VIP Membership to this site. It was created because some members expressed a need for it and as result it almost created a Civil War on this site. I still spend most of my time in the main forums and the Ladies Lounge :hump: :roflmao:. I decided to pay for the VIP to support this site first and foremost. But also to be a part of good discussion and get away from the trolls every once in a while. So far the experience has been a good one. Kudos to AJ, Muck and the FH Staff. It's nice to read threads that aren't spammed or ruined by trolls with meaningless comments that add nothing to the conversation.......

We all come here because we love the Miami Dolphins. We come here for news and conversation. And most of us spend a lot of time on here..which brought me to this question..

What would you do if you woke up tomorrow and there was no more FH? It's the first and last site I visit on the internet everyday. It's where I get all my Dolphins news (Props to Nublar). And last but not least, it's the only place on the net where I can talk to fellow die-hards and get a different perspective on the only team in professional sports that I love.

I totally agree. I did the VIP, and gave AJ some more to make sure that we keep Finheaven around. I am very grateful for the fellow Dolphin Fans opinions, and I respect them as well. I appreciate this site very much being on the left coast! Thanks to AJ, and crew!:)
 
I'm glad to see you VIP guys are still posting around here. I was afraid I'd almost be forced into purchasing for the fact that all my favorite posters had lost contact with us 'civilians' ;) but it's cool.

FinHeaven is a great site and it's evident that AJ is going to be a very successful business man in the future due to his ability to run such an expansive venture as smoothly as this website!
 
I'm not currently in a position where the expense makes sense for me, but I hold no grudge against anybody who pays it or to the folks here who decided to go that way. It was a nice compromise between shutting the thing down and taking it pay-only. I know I'll miss out on good stuff, and I'm sure I'll eventually make the commitment. I really don't get what the fuss was over.
 
And to answer the question: I don't know what I'd do if there was no FH tomorrow. It's my homepage...I check it before work and through out the day and then spend my free time in the evenings posting and reading posts. FH is now an integral thread in my love of the Miami Dolphins culture.

Then for a slower messageboard but with interesting viewpoints I go here : www.dolfantalk.net/forums/dolfantalk/

I then check the finheaven boards for decent threads by consistent posters. You can tell a threads intent by the title, so it depends on the news of the day, and my disposition on how much effort I put into reading the posts.

The news posts by Nublar are ok, but it links to finheaven's snippets, and then from there you have to click again to get to the actual article. It was much better when Nublar just linked to the news articles, but the hit counter turns faster this way, I guess.

I don't neither bro! I am no better then any Dolphin Fan on either board. I just enjoy the interaction, the laughs, and yes the ladies lounge, Go Bundy! Life is dang short why try to tear us apart, when we should be one Dolphin Brotherin!:drinkers:

Thanks for the offer, man. It's more about justifying the expense to myself. I am a poor student, but I'm not *that* poor. I'll be there if and/or when it makes sense to me.
 
- Look , I have enough stress as it is : A house payment , 4 kids , a wife that nags me , a boss that is a pain and a low paying job at the Post Office delivering mail day in day out ,day in day out ,day in day out ,day in day out ... sometimes ...I...lost my thoughts there , what was the question?

I joined not knowing what to expect. In the 3 days that I've been posting in the Forum though, I can say, and other VIP members will vouch, that the discussions and the post have been very, very good. It's different. So far it's free of trolls. Hope it stays that way.

I still spend 75% of my time in the regular forums (Ladies Lounge :hump: ) though as most of us do I believe.

BTW..I just discovered the Ladies Lounge 2 weeks ago. Thats the reason for my infatuation. Long live Boone and d-day :rawk:!!!
