I love FinHeaven man! Especially last year and this one as well, I pretty much refresh the main page every 5-10 minutes all during the day. I don't get any Dolphins news here in Virginia, so FinHeaven does it all for me.

I'd be very disappointed if FH up and left one day, but there's nothing I could've done about it.

As far as the VIP is concerned, if I didn't have 45 bills to pay, I'd do it in a heartbeat. But as for the trolls who come in here and talk jive, all we really have to do is ignore them. Some are more ignorant then others, but that's what makes the world go 'round. There'll always be people here that disagree with whatever we think or say, and they'll always be Bills/Jets fans

While I've been here at FH a long time, even helped AJ out with some PHP stuff in his early days, I'm one for not paying twice for the same thing. What I mean is that I already pay for my internet, so I don't pay anything else after that.

Fh is a good site, no doubt about it. But while sites go up and down everyday, there are many to take the place of those gone, and soon forgotten by the masses.

But I look at it this way, I could pay for VIP or I could use that money for my children. Simple choice for me isn't it?

I'm not currently in a position where the expense makes sense for me, but I hold no grudge against anybody who pays it or to the folks here who decided to go that way. It was a nice compromise between shutting the thing down and taking it pay-only. I know I'll miss out on good stuff, and I'm sure I'll eventually make the commitment. I really don't get what the fuss was over.

I'm sort of in the same boat. Right now I'm going to school full-time and am not working. I also have a working wife who goes to school part-time, and three young daughters. Not to mention a mortgage. I've wanted to donate for years now, but I don't have the heart to clear it with my wife because she forgoes many things so we can get by. One day, when I can contribute, I will. Not just for the perks, but for a thank you to AJ, Muck and many others to long to list for all the hard work they do giving us the best place online to talk dolphin football. Until then, I guess I'm relegated to the dungeon sifting through the scraps for nuggets on dolphin football. :D

Spend the money on your children, please. You could get 2 containers of powdered formula for the same cost as a VIP membership. Or a pack of diapers and wipes. Those things add up. Or you could get her an eddie bauer car seat, which is a little extra but come on, who doesn't want the best for their children?
