I think our #1 problem on this team is we have zero speed on offense 0 even with a healthy ronnie brown, chambers has lost a step i dont care what anyone says, booker is a turtle, welker is welker and mcmike is the slowest of them all heck even hagen is slow wtf we need to draft a burner at some postiton im thinking ted ginn jr. god chambers is overated he has got to go! no team speed none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're exactly right!!!!! We need a guy like a Troy Smith on offense...not the slow statues we have at QB......Troy could be like Michael Vick. I say roll the dice and draft him in the midde of the first round and send Joey packing, and wait to see what happens with DC.

If we do draft a qb in the middle of the 1st round I would rather see them pick JaMarcus Russell or Brian Brohm because Troy Smith will be a second or 3rd round pick.

i am really starting to hate chambers he is not even a starter right now imo

some speed? we need a lot. we need speed at SOLB/at our DB position that can cover well/make plays on a ball not a players waist with the speed not just being quick. speed at O line a bit so there is room to run vs the fast defenders (which all the defense are fast pretty much) a burner to compliment RB and a man that can run faster then our turtle as stated before. he had a reverse the field was so open my mouth dropped then i saw him get chased by shoebel (SP). tahts damn pathetic.

I think the fastest player in the draft is probablt Ted Ginn Jr. or Calvin Johnson but that is only if they declare.

it's a tie between Ginn Jr and Higgins Jr, they are both blazers at WR

I disagree that he shouldn't be a starter. But I don't think he should be the number one receiver by any means. He drops way too many easy passes. He's good with YAC he only time the ball is in his hands is when they hit him on little swing routes. We need to trade Chambers for a better option next season.

I want a QB. Vick is a big time bust. I certainly hope for Smith's sake that HE IS NOT like Michael Vick.
I hope he actually has a feel for the passing game and knows how to read coverages.
Mobility is nice, but at the end of the day you need a QB who can deliver strikes with his arm. If we draft Smith, I hope he has that ability.

Meh. Vick? He is streaky AT BEST as a passer. Look at the contenders. How many have "statues" and how many have Vick-type players? Manning, Manning, Romo, Rivers, Garrard, Pennington, Grossman (no particular order). There isn't one runner in the group. Careful what you wish for. The Atlanta fans are growing tired of Vick for good reason.

Off the top of my head, in no particular order, Ted Ginn Jr, Chansi Stuckey of Clemson, Paul Williams of Fresno State, Jonathan Holland, Louisiana Tech and Yamon Figurs of Kansas State who ran 4.29 this past summer.

we need dependable receivers not so much fast but alot more speed doesnt kill so what the hay. our biggest needs is like this.
we need two olinemen.
we definately need 2 wrs one fast and big and the other d'juan woods
we need a big powerful runningback or a back with shiftyness and speed.
but most importanlty is we need a fire eating qb.
but i pretty much concurr with you boys.:dolphins:
