This is my biggest complaint with Philbin. His teams are so un-clutch. There is never a time when they need a big win, a big drive or even a big play do they come through.

Hmmmm.......yes and no.

We have plenty of players who have "heart" and show it on a regular basis. However, I would agree that as a team, we lack a killer instinct. I just watched the end of the Cardinals/Chiefs game. The Chiefs got the ball back with about a minute left and needed to get into field goal range to tie the game. The DC for the Cardinals, Todd Boles, blitzed every down until the end of the game. Alex Smith could only throw short check down passes and he got sacked several times. It was aggressive and it was a "killer" instinct that we lack.

I've heard of teams being afraid to win....and we seem to be one of them.
