PFT reports that "There's a belief in some league circles that no quarterbacks will be among the first 20 players selected in the 2008 draft.
The top two quarterbacks on the board are, for now, Brian Brohm of Louisville and Matt Ryan of Boston College. But Brohm isn't regarded as having much arm strength and Ryan is thought to be lacking in athletic ability."

This would mean that no one would be willing to trade with us to pick Ryan, and with McFadden skipping the combine, it looks like we're stuck with the #1 pick. The NFL needs to change the draft picks salary structure, and align it with the one the NBA has.
 
Make sense...but I doubt it will happen...just too many teams with QB needs...some team will get antzy and move up.

i dont see atlanta passing on ryan. they neeeeeeeeeeeeeed a QB, plus alot more other positions. i think they are in more trouble than miami, because there cap sucks.
 
IMO this is a terrible year for QBs both in the draft and FA. If your looking for a young guy to lead, your gambling, and finding a decent vet in this years pool is just as slim.
 
I think some teams are probably looking towards next years draft for a QB. Maybe looking for a Vet as a stopgap until next year. This years QB draft is not very good, but I would be suprised if a QB isnt taken in the top 15. We will know more after the combine, which will really tell us what the QB's look like.
