despite all the negatives against him, hes played pretty decent for a guy who hasnt been here.
I believe hes also injured, over weight, doesnt know the play book etc...regardless, He looks stout out there. He let one or two get away but hes been pretty reliable these past two games in protecting Tannehills left side. And he seems pretty good in the run game as well.

Thoughts?

I was thinking the same thing. Hats off to him, hes done well in 2 games.

You must not have much love for him, considering you can't spell his name right. LOL. Seriously though, he has been solid. Hope he can keep it up

It's amazing how many laughed at and scoffed the trade. Mckinnie has been a huge improvement, I mean that literally. He likes like a hulk out there, never realized how big he was.

They should have showed a split screen of him when they had Hulk Hogan, fake Hulk Hogan, guy dressed up as The Hulk on the screen last night. That's why they've always called him Mount McKinnie though, he's a monster.

The only thing that makes me angry with his situation is that we didn't get him during the bye week. He has been huge...figuratively and literally!

He played very well in giving up 0 sacks, 0 hits, and 1 hurry, while doing well on the run. A former Cane coming home has done wonders for his play.

Yep. I was screaming for a desperation move, and this was a desperation move. Guess what, sometimes you have to be desperate because the situation is that dire.

Why. Did. It. Take. So. Long?

No complaints, especially considering how little time he's had to get up to speed. But at 34 years of age, McKinnie isn't a long-term solution. We likely still need a left tackle next season.

Or why we didn't sign him in the offseason when we brought him in and it wouldn't have cost us a late draft pick. Better late than never though.

Thanks...Im not exactly a Bryant Mckinnie fanboy or anything. Just handing out props. So I spelled the guys last name wrong, womp...I know I got the pronunciation right though..

McKinnie is 6'8" and 265. Last night seeing him live vs a DE and even Cog or Garner, it looked like a heavyweight vs a lightweight. In boxing, it would not have been allowed. He is Frakin HUGE, and then some. :)

He hasn't weighed 265 since he was born lol :)
