I have to say I've been quite pleased with his performance thus far.

despite all the negatives against him, hes played pretty decent for a guy who hasnt been here.
I believe hes also injured, over weight, doesnt know the play book etc...regardless, He looks stout out there. He let one or two get away but hes been pretty reliable these past two games in protecting Tannehills left side. And he seems pretty good in the run game as well.

Here's something to think about: McKinnie was the weak link at Baltimore. So weak that they benched him and upgraded by trade.

Miami's OL was so poor that trading for McKinnie actually upgraded it.

True story, to a degree. He has come home with something to prove, playing better, and is a difference in what Philbin would like to have. Having met the man when he was at "The U" I think he is a breath of fresh air for other players, dying for a bit of leadership, which he can give.

IMO, he replaces Long somewhat in someone players can feed off of, and he is not someone to argue with.

When Richie got injured I was just envisioning doom & gloom with McKinnie left alone and Garner coming in...
Then Miami called a run and apparently it only took one play and they were in synch.
Crisis averted...they played well! Did I just say that!?

First of all I am not follower or hater on the FO, but, have you notice that when this trade was done, almost all people jumped to hate it and fired everyone, now that we see that was a good move, we do not say that it was a good move, people keep saying that it should be in a different way, hehehe, that is funny with some of you guys! Even on a desperate move it was a very nice move and I am happy for my team!!

Maybe 265 kilos. The guy is enormous. And he can play too! All good at LT for now.
