No Martin, No Incognito = No problem

I think his post is quite easy to read. He said how would Ireland see this coming. Incognito has always been a guy that has had a bad reputation and I thought Ireland was this maestro at mind games to figure out whats going on with prospects by asking these keen intellectual questions like is your mom a prostitute

Again you are reading what you want to read but it ties in with your agenda so continue on.

I was answering to the fact that it was insinuated that it was bad that Ireland did not have a contingency plan against this sort of thing happening. Now, I also said he probably has faults in eyes of people, and I for one think that it's the o-line and the handling of the talent of it. So, to answer another thing posted, there is depth at the oline in the fact that there are bodies available to play at the position, the problem is that the depth is an unknown at this point and the whole talent level of the oline seems to be weak...

As for 'knowing he's a tool', that should have been brought back up to him by his management team that is day to day with the team, aka the coaching staff. In the past he had tendencies for being a dirty player, this does not translate to him being whatever the 'investigation' will make him out to be. So, it's easy with hindsight to say: he should have knows. Real life = no hindsight...

Again, let me say again that I'm not too happy with everything Ireland has done... is he 'below-average' to the league standard of hits and misses? I don't know... however, I know that his oline - talent-wise - is his fault.

Rid if them or not its not like we got hidden talent behind them.

True but Martin Blows and is not much better, if at all, better than the much maligned Clabo. In the Baltimore game Suggs was taking turns and there really wasn;t much difference. I'd imagine there has to be some sort of drop off going from Incognito to Garner though. Garner played well last week, we'll see.

I blame Ireland for relying on John Martin to play the most important position on the line because first and foremost he's a terrible NFL LT. Secondly because it sounds like he's always had some other issues. We should have overspent or done whatever it took to make sure John Martin was our backup swing tackle. With all the money Ireland had and spent in the offseason (and still had left) having 2 stiffs at T with a young QB you're trying to develop is inexcusable and grounds for him to be fired right now.

And Ritchie, what a dopuche is this is true. Pranks are one thing but hate crimes? C'mon! I founf it odd that Ritchie went out of his way to share a private text from Martin to him with the media though. If he truly knew he had nothing to do with this you figure he'd have just said nothing with a clear conscience. Who knows what that whole dialog was like, maybe Ritchie did threaten Martin to clear his name.

I never saw the season unfolding like this. I wasn't sure our line would be any good (never bought into the bigger stronger Martin folks were posting about) but thought they might be good enough. Now it looks like we started with a baby, a racist, a crimimal, a lazy ass (actually Jerry's been good lately) and a washed up player. Nice job Jeff!!!!

No agenda. Our GM didnt see that maybe our T is not menatally ready for the NFL as well as not being that great of a tackle on either side. Didnt see that Incognito was a classless individual before he signed here.
You cannot have foresight into a freak injury or but thats like saying NE could never had know that Hernandez was an idiotic thug. Yes of course they could not predict a murder trial but there were signs that he had issues which could get him suspended much like Incognito had shown signs that he might not be the ideal person to have on a team. I mean seriously he delved into what Another players parents did and decided it was an issue to not draft him so Im pretty sure that Bryant is not the only guy he had a close look at. You see agenda where there us none but oh well

Incognito was not let go by the rams because he was a dirty player he had issues with coaching staff, never been the most stable guy. Martin who knows but in reality he wasnt playing good this year so whether he has mental issues or not is irrelvelant if he is not getting the job done.
Now if Martin was playing good and this happened I could see the point that its not his fault or he has no fault

With all this mess going on, no wonder our offensive line was so bad. Now maybe everybody will be pulling in same direction and they'll get better.

We played one of our best games of the year without either of these two fellas. A lot of you are claiming the season's over because of this fiasco, but I see it as an opportunity to rid this team of two players that aren't worthy of suiting up for the Fins -- albeit for two different reasons.

We move on without these two and focus on a win Monday Night. A win and a 5-4 record is the best medicine to putting this all behind us.

Exactly. I mean it's not like we lit up the scoreboard against the bengals and it seemed we tried to give that game away. But we pulled it off in the end and showed we are good enough to win games without them.

J-Martin was highly touted during college, now hes not so great. Clabo was a top 5 RT last year, now he sucks. This must be a coaching issue, or chemistry issue. But we shouldn't get rid of Pouncey, McKinnie or Jerry. Jerry is doing better, he can be a good backup at least. I wouldn't mind having Martin around either as a backup; Im taking a wild guess here that Martin is gay and Richie got offended by it. Silly Republicans
