No moral victories, this team continues to disappoint

Dude, its a tough game against a tough team.
 
brian hartline cant seperate from anyone anymore. Our defense balls out whole game but as usual last possessions they fail. Coach is a clueless loser. We are same old phins.

No wild card for us at all this year.
 
Meanwhile, the crappy New England team that was going nowhere this year after we beat them, continue to sit happily in first place.

Dude, it's another loss when this team had the ball with a lead with 4 minutes. Dude, this team misses the playoffs because we've already lost two games that we should have won.

This madness will not end until Philbin is fired.
 
it seems any coach they bring in will just do the same damn thing. How many years have we seen it. I mean come on. To think that another coach won't do the same at this point is silly.

At least our special teams and defensive coaching is solid.

So has every fan of every team ever. The lions are good. you just saw arguably the top 2 defenses go at it, and you also saw Tannehill play ****ing pretty well against that D. I'm pissed, yes, but it's out of conference and Buffalo on Thursday is much more important. This game hurts because it was so close, but beating Buffalo is more important. If we lose Thursday, then it's time to be really ****in nervous about the season.
 
Epic failure, this offensive team has now faced this 4 minute situation with lead 14 times in a row and left it to defense every time. This is an ugly streak that could have been ended today. But no
 
This team starts very slow, and can not finish in the 4th quarter. Its been like that for a long time. They lose the 1st and 4th quarters and win the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

My issue with Philbin is that they always come out flat. And when its crunch time, in crucial situations in the 4th quarter, he does not have a clue. This is the 2nd time this year where Miami had the ball late, with the lead, and a 1st down or 2 would of put the finishing touches on a W. Instead, its the same old routine. Punt, then crumble to the opponents 2 minute drill.

No coach has had the talent that Philbin has had.
 
The offense continues to be the failure point of this team. 3 minutes and all you need is first downs and you can't even get ****ing one?!?!

Tannehill disappears in big games. If one thing goes wrong or the game starts off bad it gets in his head and he ****ing crawls into his loser turtle shell.

The ONLY reason this game was even as close as it was was that blocked kick.

We finally have a Ballin defense and it's going to be squandered. Honestly I feel bad for people like grimes and wake to have their careers wasted on a **** team that will never amount to anything.
 
Agreed. It was GB all over again. We all knew DET was going to score the GW TD. Every single Dolphins fan knew this. The defense can't make a play when it matters the most. Offense can't get a first down when it matters most.

Agreed....I have never been this angry after a loss. four minutes left, you are nursing a 3 point lead and you try 2 running plays. I was sitting there begging them not to run the ball just get it down field....but nooo we don't do that, we don't go for the kill we sit on the lead and expect our defense to win the game for us. I have never been this piss.
 
They didn't come out flat last week and Philbin wasn't around all week...
