why does everyone want a new WR??? i mean look at the hard working and talented guys we already have.
ginn - making huge progression with his route running
bess- cahces everything (welekr style)
camarillo- another welker type of wr (you can never have enough)
Mr. London- watch as he progresses and becomes a legit star, he has all the physical attributes needed plus an excellent attitude

I do thing bringing a Wr could help the bunch, but its not a real necessity. Spend the pick other wise.

lets keep this WR together and let them develop.
:thanks:

yeah but we do not have a red zone threat and fasano is not always the answer

I agree. We got some talent there. I say we sure up our defense. Sometimes its easier to make your best part stonger.

Also, I think we may pick up a good receiver or 2 in the later rounds (Ramses Barden, who would be a great red zone target). Maybe we can find another undrafted diamond in the ruff like we did with Bess.

I would truthfully rather make the defense better and allow the receivers that we have now to progress, instead of spending draft picks on receivers and getting less defensive help. If you have a truly unstoppable defense then your offense only has to score 17-20 pts a game and you will win.

agree .. ILB,NT,CB, is more of a need the WR

In order for our offense to take the next step, we need to be more consistent running the ball and we need a dynamic wide receiver. Right now we have a bunch of #2 and 3 guys and role players.

I'd personally love Nicks, Harvin or Britt at 25. DHB will probably be gone.

I also believe that we should not draft a receiver high because the recievers we have possess enough ability and potential for now. We should look for a CB or LB with our first round pick.

I think the front office is confident in their ability to find an UDFA to compliment what we already have at WR. Parcells and Co. are going to try and improve in the trenches again this year.

As far as recievers in the draft, I'd take Robiskie over Nicks, Britt, and Harvin

London is as good as any rookie .. give him an opportunity.
also bess is now in his second year , be sure on his progression

i have no doubt that london is as good as any rookie wr because he already knows the system, and he does need the chance to prove himself but we still need the wr that when teams face us they are scared of him and ginn is not there yet and who is to know if he will ever be, if he is afraid to take a hit, now i think bess will eventually get to that stage since he is not afraid to take the hit he will fight for extra yardage

we could find a pretty good wr in the second round we need to get a corner or pass rusher in the first, i prefer a cb

I'm really tired of people talking up Brandon London. The guy has never done a single thing to imply that he can become a starting wide receiver in this league.
We need to bring in a real threat on the outside, and we'll have a great chance to do it at #25 so I think we should pull the trigger.

There's some developing talent but nothing "scary." We need a compelling threat at WR and then Ginn, Bess, Camarillo and London will be that much better. Right now our WR group is certainly in the lower half of the league. Yes, they will get better but this is still an area of immediate need.

IDK that Parcells and Co. would be wasting their time going to WR's workouts and bringing their future starting QB with them to throw the ball if they felt they didn't need a WR. I like all 4 of our WR's too but these guys are all #2 or below caliber players.

I don't see the need of drafting a WR if we have a quarterback that can't throw the ball more than 15 yards.
