Ws it just me, or was there a false start by the Chargers" 42 yd. completion that led to their TD?

yeah i saw that too... their left tackle definitely appeared to have started early... but it was close, but you get some of those calls and you lose some...

I see that a lot now. A tackle will flinch up a fraction of a second too early but it is never called. I don't think it makes a huge difference and some people could argue that it's good timing and not a false start. I bet the NFL has told the officials that unless it is really noticeable, then to ignore it because there would be a lot more penalties.

Did anyone else feel bad for Goodman on that play? Vincent Jackson is a giant and had like half a foot on him.

I was at the game and was going nuts about the non false start call

I saw it too, I'm sorry but if that many people noticed it, it should have been a flag. I've seen FS flags for less obvious movements.

Not sure if it was the same play, but I remember seeing a flinch on a SD lineman that wasn't called. but I saw one on us that wasn't called too.

All I saw was Goodman standing right next to Jackson and instead of getting in position to knock the ball away, he lets Jackson take him to school with a body screen. Kudos to Jackson, but we have to be better than that at DB. Goodman and Crocker are both just too scary. Hopefully, they will get better.

I actually noticed at least one false start by Jake during the game too... not to be public enemy number one or anything.

Yeah...saw it. But as soon as I did not see a flag...I knew it would be a completion. Just our luck. But...I think our luck is changing. When we fumbled the kickoff, I thougt "Here we go again!". Great defensive stand though!

I agree lol

But it looks like the luck might finally be going our way.

Rivers is hitting 60% OF HIS PASSES. He is at about 58% on passes over 21 yards.

Yet he misses a wide open Davis on blown coverage by Crocker. In the old days that would have been a completion for a long TD and we would lose in Over time.

Now the luck hopefully has shifted and it's incomplete
