Some of you people are ridiculous. You complain about the coach. You complain about the roster. You complain about the draft. You complain about the play calling. Then when the team makes moves to address those problems you complain about who they interview, who they call back, who the new guy will work with, what the power structure is, and who gets hired. That's a whole lot of complaining and the saddest part is you don't even know what you want. Every candidate for OC and GM had someone complaining. No one is good enough for you.

Grow up.

I read a lot of threads that have folks looking back in hindsight at what Miami should have done. So what? They didn't do that stuff. They didn't sign Brees. They didn't draft Patrick Willis, or Matt Ryan, or Russell Wilson, or Luke Keuchly. They didn't hire Ted Thompson. They didn't sign Branden Albert. Know what? You're going to have to let all that go and let this team move forward, either to improve or not. And if Hickey and crew drive this team into the ground then you can complain about him and the staff. Until then give the man some room to at least move his crap into his office before writing his pink slip.

I agree. I am amazed at the mood swings that occur day to day on this site.

I think winning solves a lot of this.

You are right, the 15th option for GM will lead us to the promised land...

No one here has been stopping this team from moving forward. Perhaps you should take your own advice: grow up and stop being ridiculous.

I mean really guys, what the hell do you have to complain about? I mean, at least we went to the playoffs once in the past decade, so we are clearly doing something right! For reals.

Well, Jeff's gone now...happy days are here? lol

18 years and the guy couldn't even get an interview for the same position, with the team he worked for. Yea, makes you feel like we are in good hands. But for the sake of the OP, lets just say he was a great hire, and we should be grateful Stephen ross is our owner. We offered the job to several other people, and were rejected, and others declined to interview, I'd say there is a problem.

As far as complaining about our drafts, we happen to be right, they have sucked, thus the reason we haven't been over .500 in 5 years.

OP, tell this tale to the players on the team who are now complaining.

The people that start threads "No pleasing some folks" are completely ignoring the point. TWICE NOW ROSS HAS IMPLEMENTED A HALF MEASURE AND ENDED UP WITH OTHER TEAM'S GARBAGE BECAUSE OF IT. That's why we're mad, and sick and tired of all this BS, if for once he did the right thing, and fired everybody YOU KNOW A REAL HOUSECLEANING and started from scratch, there would be hope for change. Instead we're saddled with the 15th choice for GM because he insisted on keeping Failbin and Aponte INSTEAD of starting over (which he also failed when he fired Sparano yet kept Jeffy around).

People that think we're suddenly going to have different results making the same mistakes over and over again really have some kind of blind optimism that I just don't understand. Honestly I had a little hope when the season ended that Ross would blow it up and build with a new foundation but nope, we're going to continue to try to renovate this dump with cheap materials over a completely rotted foundation

Well, at least someone is happy with continued mediocrity. You should be absolutely thrilled. Congrats on the good news man!

It must be a very good feeling for them while they have their blinders on. Same thing as those who create threads about "being patient"...

Look, I'm usually pretty optimistic when it comes to the Dolphins, but Ross has clearly shown he has no idea on who's running this team as of late. I'm just tired of seeing a lack of direction and leadership with this franchise and we're all frustrated as fans because of this. I'm still hoping all of this works out in the end, but the GM selection process has been a circus show to say the least.

Sadly, we probably wont even be mediocre next season.
