I knew after the second play of the game when Pep got sacked that he hasn't learned a dam thing. How in the **** do you get sacked front side without seeing that guy. Please step up and move around a little in the pocket. Please look off your primary receiver and then come back to him. You would think after playing as long as he has he would know this. And for anyone saying he is not healthy enough then get him the **** off the field.

I counted 5 pocket-presents Daunte gave today

during next weeks game...try to exclusivly watch the offensive line and tell me if he had time...for every play they give him time they dont 4...watch it, you'll see. Even ronnie is fighting for 3 yds...This line is a joke, worst in Fin history.

I'm going to copy and paste this post in every "Culpepper is to blame" thread on this board today.

It will accompolish 2 things.
  1. Save on my typing because I'm crappy at it.
  2. Get me extra posts.
People are blaming Daunte today?

Is it Daunte's fault we ran the ball a grand total of 14 times against a team that was giving up 163 yards a game coming into today? 14 rushes in a game that was 6 - 3 through 3 quarters.

Is it Daunte's fault that we allowed the Texans to convert 5 of 8 third downs in the 2nd half? Two of the 3rd downs the Texans did not get were on running plays when they were trying to spin the clock so, in reality they were 5 our of 6 on 3rd downs. Incidentally they scored both their T.D.'s on 3rd down.

Is it Daunte's fault that Marty Booker drops a pass that would have been AT LEAST a gain of 40 yards, if not a T.D. That play would have gotten us points at the 3:00 minute mark of the 4th quarter and let us save our timeouts.

Is Daunte the one taking penalties on 2nd down, getting us into impossible 2nd and 3rd and longs?

Can Daunte block for himself?

The issues today? Giving up on the running game, penalties, poor offensive line play and not getting off the field on 3rd downs. It's the same old story.

Blaming Daunte today shows that some of you have no idea how to watch this sport.

Everyone associated with the offense deserves blame, including Daunte.

Playcalling i.e No running plays called when Ronnie was showing he can get it done (no thx to the O-Line) was criminal. Not helping Culepper at all.
Sad result i say, shame i cudnt actually get on Finheaven the whole game!! Come on guys sort it out. I missed the whole game because of the problems we have had on here lately.

At this point looks like sabans tenure here is gonna turn out like BB's 1st stint as a HC in Clevland. What a sad excuse for a professional footbal team.

Agreed but people on this site lay ALL the blame on the guy. He is about 57th on the list of things wrong with this football club.

unless daunte has cyclops vision, he is not looking at anything but 1 option. i havent seen his head move once this year.

You're not making any sense rookie. You want him to avoid oncoming pressure up the middle by concentrating on the rush while looking off his primary receiver and then coming back to him while the pocket is collapsing all around him. And I bet you're one of the guys bitchin' that he holds on to the ball too long too. Should he do the hokie pokie while he's at it. :rolleyes2

Someone explain to me at what point during most of those sacks did he have time to scan the field for his 2nd 3rd and 4th receiver. When Mario Williams is giving him a bear hug?
