bottom line for right now, we beat a 1 win team at home on sunday and we'll guaranteed to be tied (record wise) for the final wild card with either the chiefs or broncos heading into december. cant ask for much more than that!

Extremely confusing post. Start out pessimistic but finish optimistic. Make up your mind

actually, the charger or ram game is exactly the type we've lost in the tannehill era.
Actually the Bills and Jets are also the type we have lost in the Tannehill Era... and throw in the Steelers.

Let's face it, this Adam Gase team isn't replaying that same broken losing record we Dolphins fans have been hearing for more than a decade. Win, lose or draw, we are in uncharted territory... and lovin' it!

Its a fan message board. Looking ahead is okay. Embrace the new culture and cast the era of suck away. I promise it wont affect the team.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking at sneaking in to the playoffs, but really I'm just enjoying the hell out of this season. Its been a long time since there was actually good reason for hope, instead of just hope itself.

I look at this year, not as a re-building season, but as a building season. Building the personnel, the atmosphere and the chemistry. Building the experience players like Lippett and Howard need to become quality starters of the future. Getting the offensive line the experience it needs to become a top unit. And let's not forget, Gase is a rookie too. He will only improve with experience as well.

Yeah, this year is fun... But next year is when we are going to really be something.

It's great that the team is 100% in controll of it's destiny with 6 games remaining. If Miami wins out and finishes 12-4 they're guaranteed a playoff spot. That's still way down the road, but still nice to know.

100% agreed. I was pretty pissed throughout the Rams game. In years past I might just have been like "meh" and moved on with my day. They have me caring a ton more than I used to.

Even if you refuse to look forward, you can still be excited about what's happening with the team. In fact, I think that's exactly what's going on with the guys who actually suit up on game day.

They're winning games because they just want it more than the other team.

Dude enjoy the ride. We have every reason as Dolphin fans to be optimistic. If we don't get the results this year our future still looks bright.

I thought I had my fan emotion down to a tolerable level. Now they go and get me all excited again. ****.
