I dare say with our performance this season that we won't be getting any prime time games again in the 2006 season. My guess is with SNF moving to NBC, that will become the higher profile game now so we can rule that out.

If we were to get Vince Young or Matt Leinart at QB next year, I could see the Phins getting an ESPN MNF game though. Otherwise, the prime time hopes look grim.

Yet another dose of reality about how far this proud franchise has fallen :(

no way the fins get a MNF game, no matter who they draft.

you have to have at least finished 8-8 the previous year.

It's unlikely we will not at least get one. We're a big market franchise, and there are plenty of chances.

So, look...17 weeks. Two prime time games per week. Two teams play per game. Add two for the teams playing opposite Dallas/Detriot on Thanksgiving. That's 70 different chances to be on Prime Time for one of the bigger franchises.

It's not going to happen two years straight.

I believe the league will have flexible schedules next year. Don't know if this was officially voted on but there were discussions about this. Nevertheless, I don't think we'll be passed over again.

Who knows? I'm still trying to figure out why the Texans, THE TEXANS, got TWO Primetime games this year and the Dolphins got none. The Texans finished what last year, 7-9??

I guess that leaves the sorry Bills out as well.

If it was legally possible for Ricky to come back before the league finalized the tv schedule, the Dolphins would have had at least 1 home night game. It's all about ratings and story lines.

those sunday night games are diffrent than MNF. and many felt they would have a shot at the playoffs this year.
