Quite honestly, I'm really surprised we didn't draft a power RB or a QB. Some of the QB's went in the 5th round that could prove to be starters. Im just not sold that Daniel Thomas can get the job done. We have Knowshon, but is he going to break a tackle for third and short/goal line situations and we only have him for one year so I guess were hoping all these OL picks pan out and become starters to block better? We have an expensive backup in Matt Moore and not one Qb was drafted to give Tanny some competition.

Am I insane to think we made a mistake here? I guess Ill reserve judgement until the UDFA period, but I expected more from the new regime.

Hate to be a party pooper but after watching the Fins for 40 years, I was hoping for a better draft.

They're obviously going to give Knowshon Moreno a real shot this year.

Also, and maybe I'm nuts, but I could definitely see the team using Charles Clay out of the backfield in 4 wide sets.

There are still guys to get as UDFA like Jeff Matthews or James Wilder. I'm completely ok with this draft. It's not flashy but there are some intriguing players.

Kapri Bibbs as an UDFA would be nice. I'm hoping to see Dion Bailey, Brandon Coleman, Shayne Skov, Conner Shaw, and Cody Hoffman available at the end of the day.

Maybe you people are delusional when it comes to valuing RBs? Our OL was beyond atrocious in BOTH phases of the game last year, and that's a fact that's lost on a lot of people. I still think that Lamar Miller can be an every down starter because no RB (see: Rice, Ray) can run behind an OL that is so awful, and I'm hopeful for Moreno.

For whatever reason Hickey and crew didn't think they needed another RB or QB. It is what it is. Will it be a mistake? Not the lack of drafting a QB I don't think. The running back issue might not work out if Moreno gets hurt though.

We have three qb's on the roster already. A short yardage back can be found after the draft. Too many holes to waste picks. We still have needs as is.

Tannehill or bust mode.

there was never any chance of a proper qb being taken.

a new devlin was possible but tannehill never had any concerns.

rb? miller thomas and gill suck, surprised we didn't get one. Moreno is good though

I agree that the o-line needed a big fix to give our current backs a decent chance to actually be productive and Hickey has addressed this.

I was a little puzzled by this as well, but I guess they are happy with the QB's we have and I think we will either get an UDFA RB or grab a vet that becomes available in a few weeks. That's the only thing I can think of.

I'm not surprised by the QB thing, as I think Devlin is still a solid developmental prospect who has shown as well or better than most number threes in the league. The RB thing I'm a little more surprised by, but they may still be higher on Gillislee as we think. But when it comes down to it, my thinking always has been that any of our guys could be effective enough running the ball consistently if we just got improvement from the guys in charge of opening up the holes. Lazor is also almost certain to be able to use Lamar Miller better than Sherman as well.

I figured Miami wouldn't draft a RB. Next year is where the RB value will be. I did think they would draft a QB in the 4th or 5th, though.
