I think we have no vertical passing game because we are forced to get rid of the ball too quickly. Harrington did a good job of getting rid of the ball, but he couldn't go down the field that often. I think that is mostly due to the fact that we know the offensive line can't block well enough to go downfield. And the other thing is that when Joey did go downfield, the receiver was covered pretty well most of the time. The poor running game is mostly due to the offensive line also. There are numerous times where Ronnie is hit or is made to avoid being hit before he even gets to the line of scrimmage. And when Ronnie does get to the line of scrimmage cleanly, he is dancing a little too much. I think the common thing in the lack of running game and vertical passing game is uncertainty and hesitation because of the offensive line. I think that uncertainty and lack of execution of the line is making everything, including the playcalling, very difficult.
