And Peyton Manning wont either. Did I want Manning? yes, absolutely! But now that its looking more and more like Manning is not coming here I'm not too upset about it. Manning would've made us an instant Superbowl contender, he would of brought excitement, credibility, and respect to a franchise and fanbase that need it so much. The photoshop pics of Manning in a Dolphins uniform got me excited like I was a little kid. He probably would of brought us to an AFC Championship or two, or maybe even a Superbowl, but he is not going to win one. And after 3 years of Manning we would be left dissapointed and scrambling for anther franchise QB. Peyton's numbers have declined every year since 2004, just look at his stats, plus he is gonna be 36 and coming off major neck surgery. He might be something better than the 36 year old Joe Montana who knows, Manning is driven and working hard to get back and he is motivated to win another Superbowl, but it wont happen, history is working against him. So lets move on, lets start a new era with Flynn or Tannehill, and I hope for the best!

"Alright but, I'm different, I can't base what I'm gonna be off what everybody else isn't"

Oh my god.. Here we go again with the "No coach, no QB, no GM, no Owner, no whatever has ever won a superbowl with blah blah blah".. Can we just worry about getting into the playoffs first.. Then we can worry about how the superbowl.

that's a little misleading....most QB stay with the team they won the superbowl with, at least when they're in their prime......by the time they go to another team they're in their way down.....just saying.

Ozzy rules!!

LOL if you think for one second that Peyton Manning can't return to the SB with a new team in the next few years...you're fooling yourself.

Technically, Flynn started for G.B., I guess we shouldn't sign him.

Franchise QBs also aren't out there roaming around free agency every year. Once A QB shows he's a franchise QB they sign him to 6+ year deals as soon as they can. And by the time they hit free agency their like Donovan Mcnabb.

Brett Favre came pretty damn close though, he should've at least WENT to the superbowl if it wasn't for a stupid throw on the run.

He should've done a lot of things in his career except for a stupid throw. As it is, I'm amazed he ever won a Super Bowl with how well he was able to blow games.

This reeks of denial. Manning is more than capable of winning another Super Bowl at this stage of his career. Come on man....

Up until this year no 9 win team had ever won a Super Bowl. Things change. I don't think Peyton would have led you to a SB and I don't think he'll lead Den or Ten to one either but just b/c it has never been done before doesn't mean it can't be done.
