No starting QB in NFL history has won a Superbowl with 2 different teams

As soon as it became apparent that Manning was going to be leaving the Colts, the NFL P.R. machine went into overdrive claiming that the simple addition of Manning-- in the twilight of his career and nursing a major injury-- was enough to make any team a Super Bowl contender (an idea parroted by the win-hungry fans on this site). I'd bet a mint that Manning doesn't get past the divisional round this year-- assuming he even gets to the playoffs-- with any team that would sign him (obviously he's not going to be signed by powerhouse teams like N.E., Green Bay, Giants, etc). I'd also bet a substantial sum of money that Manning doesn't get past the conference championship ever again, assuming he even gets there.

I just hope the guy signs with someone already so that this team can move forward trying to build a winner here instead of clinging desperately to the idea that scrounging up a savior from another team's scrap heap is the move that's finally going to put us over the top.

Kurt Warner brought St Louis a title and Arizona to the SB. Ya know, a team never went undefeated before until the dolphins in 72. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it wont.

I'm still amazed that Kurt was able to bring the Rams and Cards to the SB and was probably a couple of plays away from having 3 SB titles. The cards had one playoff victory in about 60 years before Kurt, the Rams were brutal for a decade and both have been bad since he left.
