okay, so maybe we didnt get Roy Williams, and we have a young unproven receiver corps. Im not sayin i dont like Ginn Jr, but i have criticized his playing. its inconsistent and for a guy with great speed(allegedly), he cant seem to break away from defenders.. Derek Hagan is a good 3 maybe even a 2 receiver. Greg Camarillo is a decent receiver and Devone Bess is our best receiver IMO. he has great breakaway speed, good hands, he just lacks height. Devone Bess will be in our club for many years to come IMO. as for Ernest Wilford, the guy just isnt getting enough play time or balls thrown his way for that matter. so how can we expect him to produce?

now, here is a list of potential free agent WRs, courtesy of KFFL.com

a few names in this list stick out, players that i believe the 'Fins should look into that might be good for our roster.
1: Marques Colston
Height: 6-4 Weight: 225 Age: 25
19 TDs going into his third year

2: TJ Houshmandzadeh
Height: 6-1 Weight: 199 Age: 31
already 38 receptions with 3 tds 400yds

3: Jabar Gaffney
Height: 6-1 Weight: 200 Age: 27
although he gets little playing time in the Patriots offense, he shows good speed and route running. he also displays good catch ability in coverage, showing that in his only TD catch so far this season, which was against the Dolphins in week 3

PLEASE
Derek Hagan is a good 3 maybe even a 2 receiver.

PLEASE

He cant even dress for a game

This coaching staff has ZERO confidence in him
when he is innactive for the game

Oh...You were serious?

:foundout:

I just cant comment seriously with the whole "Bess is our best reciever" comment

I feel the exact same way. There is absolutely nothing to base that sentiment on. The Bess love with some people on this site is more than any other player I've ever seen. Way more than even Beck or Ginn.

compare Bess to our other WRs... whats Ginn doing? other than messing up routes and not breaking free of coverage? Other than Camarillo, Bess IS our best WR

Honestly though, I wanted Wilford as our #1. he just isnt getting enought play time or passes his way

If we're lucky:

TJ Houshmandzadeh
Height: 6-1 Weight: 199 Age: 31
already 38 receptions with 3 tds 400yds

However next year's WR draft class is gonna be real good if the juniors declare for the draft.

TJ would be a good veteran on our squad and would hep teach our young guys. only problem is that the Bengals will probably resign him sometime during the season
