I can not see taking a OL this year before the 5th or 6th round. This regime has had years and many dollars and picks to get this line right and I think it's almost there and there's no value taking a guard on the first 2 days of the draft.
In my mind, its part of the Sparano problem. He's passed on better players at more critical because he's had this silly,old school mentality that he needs more OL every year despite the fact that several of them barely had a cup of coffee with the team.
Keep Jerry at RG and go out and sign a RT, its not that hard. Spend your draft picks this year on a QB and playmakers on both sides of the ball-TE, FS, LB whatever
if Sparano and Ireland stay, a big if imo, I hope they've seen the light that you don't win with RG's and RT's. I like Jake Long a lot but Parcells screwed the pooch on that one, too.
The Pats, saints and Packers don't load up on OL year after year. they coach up the players they have and rely on their skill position players to score.
