What's left to worry about in our division without Abraham (went to the Falcons) making tackles all over the field and pressuring the QB. What's left to worry about in our division with no Viniatieri (Colts)to ruin a close game with a winning field goal against the wind!

I live in RI and can't stand the Pats so the departure of Viniatieri, McGinnest, Givens, Dwight is making me so happy. With no receivers besides Caldwell from SD and Branch, and a Corey Dillon who is on his last wheel, I definitely think they are in line for a bad season. I know they always find a way with crafty Belichik but it doesn't look good. I firggin hate them

I think we have a fair shot at winning the division this year boys. What say you!!

Except now the Pats are 20 mill under the cap and could make a big FA move any day

the pats dont scare me, they didn't scare me last year without a running game and over hyped defense, and this year they gave me more reasons to believe the same thing by playing the waiting game

there wont be any FA to sign when they decide to make a move, im from MA so i hear your pain bro, i have put up with ignorant yankee fans(aka pats fans) every day not knowing the stewing pot down here, but hey thats for me to know and them to figure out

lets hope for a rude awakening...

For who??? There is hardly anyone available that has the talent that they lost. But you never know.

I think the pats are gearing up for something, maybe a draft day trade to move up. I'm sure Bill knows exactly what he's doing....darn it.

I see your point, but you need more than cap space to move up in the draft.

Exactly.

You homers keep beleiving that the Patriots will come up with nothing; all you are doing is underestimating Bill Belicheck's intelligence.

Guess what? Tom Brady had his best statistical year with an offense that had MANY injuries last offseason. Corey Dillon had the opposite of Tom's 2005 success.

Rodney Harrison, Tedi Bruschi, Richard Seymour -- 3 key players of their defensive scheme out most of the regular season due to injuries/medical issues.

Bill and the Patriots will start acting soon. Don't be surprised if they offer Lavar Arrington a big contract. They are 20 million under the cap, and can afford it more than we could.

LaVar? I would really hate to run at the Pats D with Teddy and LaVar standing in the middle of the field..

The Patriots are not going to be a bad team next season. They still have Brady and Dillion and more importantly, the little man on the sidelines. Now having said that, I don't think they are good of a team today as they were two years ago or last season for that matter and the gap between them and us was only 1 game last season and a blown Reggie Howard coverage from sweeping them. So, I have a positive outlook. But, I don't underestimate their capabilities one bit.

I would of liked a little more activity. But Belichick and Pioli always seem to have a plan. Not sure if I agree with it very much, but it usually turns out good. Should be an interesting division race as always.

i go to school in boston with a whole bunch of patsies fans, and we were talking about the pats last night and one of them acctually thought the dolphins would win the division, which caught me off gaurd.

i would say that you can count on us (Jets) rebuilding this year, i think that we are going to finish at the bottom, i also think that you guys are going to dethrone the Pat's for the division, but it is what you do in the playoffs that matter. I don't think that you guys are on the same tier as the Steelers, Colts or Bengals, but you guys are going to have a great year.

Very good points!! My whole point is, and i made it mostly yesterday in another thread, is that we shouldn't look past anybody ever. Especially this time of year since we're not done in FA yet, had the draft or even the post 6/1 cuts. In other words, our roster in no where near being complete yet and NEITHER has any other team. I like the moves we've made so far, true, but it is way premature to go around chest thumpin' and the like. You guys could very well be the top team before this thing is all over. Every year, analysts make their "predicitons" on how the year will finish. However, each week, they change as the rosters change etc. Simply put, we just have to wait and see.
