Noah was drafted as a developmental CB, all the scouts knew this before the draft happened.
Not sure why people expected him to be a day 1 starter.
He is learning the game right now with more opportunities and it's showing.

You have to give him credit for a touch, very difficult INT. Hopefully the kid puts it together. He was put in a tough spot tonight and came up big.
He's still the youngest DB on the team. I think Trill is the same age as Iggy.

Catches against him our understandable tonight. Hopefully he learns to develop with the short catch being ok occasionally and not giving up the death catch.

One thing that has been spectacular to watch is how well this secondary is coached. No Byron Jones all season, lose Trill Williams and Nik Needum for the season. You get Kader Kohou and Keion Crossen step up. Lose them ST’er Justin Bethel and a guy we all thought was a bust Noah Igbinoghene jump right in and win a game for us. Lose Brandon Jones, Clayton Fedejelem comes in and makes two spectacular plays.

I feel happy for the kid. He got put into a horrible position through no fault of his own by being drafted in the first round on a roll of the dice. He was picked on most of this game but got his retribution at the end.
I'm not comfortable seeing him continue to play a lot. We might not have a choice but if he does, we're at a huge disadvantage. We aren't going to play 17 games against the Steelers.

He really is the Mike Wallace of our defense. Highest highs and lowest lows.
I'm not going to say he's been good or anything. but his badness has been significantly multiplied by his draft position and in three years in the league this is also about the third game where he has had any chance to get significant playing time.
