Nobody coming to save Knicks, Isiah says

Isiah Thomas has already been warned that he’s out of a job if the New York Knicks don’t improve next season.

Still, he sounds ready to take the floor with basically the same group that won 23 games under Larry Brown.

“I’m not here waiting for Santa Claus to come save us,†Thomas said Thursday. “I was told early on we didn’t have any money and there was no Santa Claus. And I’m not looking for this great player to come save the day for us.

It's do or die for Izzy-Tom. I'm giving him 20 games to prove himself, or he should pack his bags and let the door stranglehold him on the way out.
 
Man this year is going to be great. This is like a trainwreck thats going to happen 82 times this upcoming season. Im stocking up on popcorn and nachos and getting comfortable.

Going into last year I didn't expect it but this season I think it is inevitable. I'm still shocked that they took Balkman.
 
I think youre all wrong. This team is built for the up tempo type of style that Isiah wants to play much more more so than they were built for larry brown's half court offense and slow it down style.

The lone exception to that is Marbury who is much more a half court PG. Which is what leads me to believe he wil be dealt. Marbury is a better player then Stevie Turnover but Francis is the better open court player. Plus Marbury is the more tradeabe asset since at least he gets numbers and francis' value is way down.

Regardless, my prediction is that with my luck the knicks will go from 23 wins to 33 wins and Clueless Duck Folan (---- Dolan, its an actual T shirt around NY regarding NYK owner James Dolan) will call that an improvement and let isiah stick around another year after :(

I dont hate anyone on the knicks except fat boy curry. Still if we could deal steph, francis, and curry for nothing but a few picks so that we could create PT for the guys who really deserve it like Crawford, Nate, Q, Frye, Butler, Lee, etc and get the whiny -----es outta here that'd be great.

Ahh well at least we will have Nate and Craw to watch. Should get some highlight reel dunks this year

nah. they won 23 games playing a style of play no one on this team except maybe frye, lee and jackie butler have the basketball iq for. They'll get a few more w's next season and still lose that 1st to the bulls :(

yes, but they went from having one of the best coaches to THE ABSOLUTE WORST COACH...
