I see countless threads about our offensive problems and usually, right or wrong, Chad Henne is taking the brunt of the blame. Most of it seems to boil down to Henne's inability to convert TD's from the redzone. However, nobody mentions the fact that thus far in 2011 we have zero TD's from outside the red zone. How many other teams do you think can say that. This is the same lumbering offense we had last year with NO SPEED. What speed we do have is not making much of an impact or not being used correctly. Maybe if we had a guy who was capable of breaking a tackle and taking on to the house actually do just that once in awhile there wouldn't be so much pressure on Henne to produce in the red zone. The QB needs to produce in the Red Zone, no doubt about it, but it would be nice to get a little help from your friends once in awhile as well.

Marshall, Bess and Hartline someone needs to make a big play.

I think lots of people have mentioned everyone is to blame.

When Henne starts throwing passes INTO the endzone instead of OUTSIDE the endzone, hoping the receiver will run it in, our redzone offense will improve. The corner endzone fade route is definitely out. Has Henne ever thrown a pass within 4' of our receiver to the the far left or right side of the endzone? I can't remember.. Maybe Daboil should design plays that utilize Henne's arm, and have guys go over the middle where Henne can drill it in?

I don't think you can really make your point before you answer that question.

This team tightens up more in the red zone than a new inmate's sphincter.

reggie bush either steps up tommorrow minus thomas or we now know this experiment will not work.

reggie bush was supposed to be the guy who could score. part of that to me is the playcalling. why bush is not involved in this passing game is beyond me. so yes, everybody needs to do better.

Even Reggie has been quoted as saying that they do these plays in practice, but not in the games. I just can't understand how coaches can choose to ignore using Bush as a receiving threat, yet continually run him up the middle (which everyone knows does NOT work)?
