One of my good freinds (who happens to be a huge Hurricane fan) went back to Miami to visit some family...he comes back saying he met this kid Devine and said he was a real classy kid...respects his family...isnt arrogant like some high prospects are.

Really? I've heard the exact opposite. Isn't this the guy that Deion adopted? And has 2 or 3 kids and still in high school? I've also heard his academics could prevent him from getting into certain schools. No questioning his talent though.AirFishOne said:

Ive heard VERY mixed things about Devine
From what I can piece together he is a really good kid, but he has made a few mistakes. Im sure he has his not so good days like everyone else where he may come out as arrogant or mean , and when he does thats what gets showed to the media. Thats a lot of pressure on a high school kid.

First Half:
stuffed on his team's first two series. ZERO blocking. Four of his five OL'men are 200 lbs. or less.
After that it got silly. After those two series, he's averaging around 11-12 YPR and two TD's

Ended up with about 160 yards and 2 TD's against a very good team headed for the playoffs.
Noel didn't get many touches in the second half, but played more of a decoy role, which opened up the whole offense.
On his personal life:
Noel Devine's parents BOTH died of AIDS. Father when he was 3 months old, and monther when he was 11 years old.
He does have two of his own children.
His grades and scores are trouble spots or him, but supposedly headed in the right direction.
His top schools are LSU, UF, FSU, NEB, and WV
FSU is horrible, and Bowden looks to still be running the offense next year. That, and they brought in the #1 RB recruit in the country last year. I don't see FSU landing him. I can really see Noel fitting into WV, UF, and probably NEB's offenses the best. I don't know about LSU. That might just be my hopes and prayers that he doesn't end up at LSU :wink:
