Carroll gets backup CB money in Philly and we only have 1 starting CB on our roster. We have plenty of cap space and big need at CB, so this move is very confusing to me. Carroll is definitely worth $2.6 million per year.

Carroll isn't great, but when the next 2 CBs on your roster has barley played any NFL snaps, Carroll is looking like a good option. Let also not forget this guy has improved every year since he was drafted. I think we may regret letting him get away.

This is addition by subtraction. Every time there was a big pass against us you look at who got burned it was Caroll. That guy is a below average starter at best I don't understand all the love for him
